Poles Apart

Are we stuck with one definition for the rest of our lives? Is it not true that everything changes and each person is a stepping stone to the future, life is infinite yet we stay in one thought process our entire lives?
Is Bipolar disorder an actual disorder or some kind of misunderstood gift? This day and age we tend to forget that the people that make up the majority of society are mostly similar to one another, on the fact that they all mostly have the same desires, food, house, car and high paying jobs, they also have some of the same hobbies and usually find comfort in having likeminded individuals around them. This is considered to be normal human behavior. Most of us do not realize that this is a manufactured way of life, it takes people who have the ability to focus the majority of their lives to that one thing and are then able to have their desires met at the same time.
You see Bipolar people are generally artists; actors, writers, poets, singers, musicians, welders, sculptors and many other beautiful beings. It is from my experience that all of these individuals have a very difficult time balancing their minds to fit societies model and way of living. These individuals thrive in an imaginative state of being, constantly brainstorming and creating new ideas for their art. Their brains are wired to be a genius at anything they find passion in. When the fundamentals of society are beyond reach for them and the stresses of this life take over, it becomes very difficult for them to remain positive and keep that artistic mind flowing. They become overwhelmed to the point where they become stuck and depressed. Grasping to anything that will allow them to forget realities everyday stresses. We must find a way to allow them to live more in their imaginations, loving and supporting them in any way we can.
I have always said that every human being has some amount of “bipolar disorder!” Even though I do not agree with the mainstream understanding or solution to treat the symptoms of this gift. I suppose we all live on different levels of bipolar disorder. My definition would be that there is a balance to life in its natural state, each one of us is at a different state, some further and some closer to balance between the poles of our subconscious and conscious minds, in other terms our imaginative vs our reality-based thoughts and lives. The human mind and body must operate as close to nature as possible for it to function at its full potential. This means that we cannot allow ourselves to eat toxic foods, drinks, smoke, and consume to many alcoholic beverages. All of these things take energy away from building and operating our body to trying to heal and remove the toxicity away from our bodies. Health is the most important foundation to living a wonderful stress-free life. If a car needs certain fuels to operate to its full potential, we wouldn't start putting water and apple juice in it and expect it to work, would we? The point is every human being has some kind of a gift and we cannot use that gift correctly if we do not understand that it must be fed the correct fuel source to thrive.
The most beautiful thing about this is that we can reprogram ourselves and fix any damage we have done.
Know who you are, accept who you are, love who you are, be who you are!
Endless Love,
